Talking with you

‘I talk and silence your word. I begin and ruin my beginning. I talk to you as if my talking were greater than yours. I fail, fall back to listening, try to lose myself by talking with you, or within you. I rear up again in my pride, silence you and impose myself: I like to think this movement sustains you.’
